I. AWARDS
The Foundation has established three awards to be presented during the annual CALLERLAB convention to people who have demonstrated support of The Foundation and square dancing. These awards are:
- Foundation Directors Award (for very exceptional and extremely outstanding service to The Foundation or square dancing)
- Patron Of The Foundation (for outstanding or continuing support to The Foundation or square dancing)
- Foundation Certificate Of Merit (for service to The Foundation or square dancing)
II. CRITERIA
The following is the criteria for each awards:
Foundation Directors Award
- Very exceptional and extremely outstanding service to The Foundation, or
- Very exceptional and extremely outstanding service to square dancing, or
- A very substantial donation ($5,000 or more) in a calendar year to The Foundation
Patron Of The Foundation
- Outstanding support for The Foundation or square dancing on a short term project, or
- Continuing support to The Foundation or square dancing on a long term basis, or
- A substantial donation ($1,000 to $4,999) in a calendar year to The Foundation
Foundation Certificate Of Merit
- Service to The Foundation, or
- Service to square dancing
III. SELECTION PROCESS
Names of award nominees should be submitted to the CALLERLAB Home Office no later than October 1 of the year prior to presentation (later submissions may be considered, if time permits)
The Foundation Executive Directors (FED) will select award recipients during the Fall FED meeting
IV. PRESENTATION OF AWARDS
Awards will be presented during the annual CALLERLAB convention as determined by the FED
If award recipients are not able to attend the CALLERLAB convention, the award will be mailed to the recipient
